There is a Wild-ness

There is a Wild-ness,
in every step we take
if Wild, we wish to be...

I've started a new blog that will focus on my nature photos and poetry/prose. This blog will remain for political discussions, but given the quality of discussion here (or lack, thereof) for the last good long while, it will be less of an emphasis for me this year.

The blog can be found here, for those interested...

It's not a blog for political discussion, just fyi. But for those who love nature, you're welcome to stop by for a visit.

You've taken some nice photos. I favor those that do not include your presence, of course, which blocks the good stuff. And except when you push your heresies and falsehoods (redundant, I know), both political AND religious, I'm not opposed to your poetry/prose from an artistic perspective. Though not much for poetry, I'd say it's good stuff, except for the aforementioned heresies and falsehoods.

But who are you crappin' about leaving this blog for political discussion? You clearly are not up for discussion, exchange of ideas, diversity of thought. You're so much more of a "I'm right, you're wrong and I get to make up the rules" kinda guy. Yeah. Your blog, your rules, and for you that includes ignoring the rules of civility and inclusion (making you a hypocrite as well).

I shouldn't need to say, I have no intention of attempting to post political or religious comments at the new site should I choose to visit. Why would I? If you don't have the character and integrity to allow and confront them here...

Over a decade of attempting endlessly to try to communicate my opinions and some facts to you without success does not mean that I have not tried.

It means just the opposite, just as a point of fact in the real world.

Have I not been a part of that decade of exchange? Have I not also had to face that you're incapable or unwilling to deal with facts and opinions I present to you? I think there's a distinct difference in tone and graciousness between us that has developed over that period...and not in a very Christian way on your part at all. Indeed, I struggle to maintain a level of civility and openness (a degree of snark aside), whereas you've gone the other route, blocking, deleting, demanding and fully dictating to a degree of censoring and ultimately attempting to force YOUR opinions to spew from OUR keyboards. No longer do lift a finger to support you position while ignoring and dismissing the very "hard data" you demand.

But the reality...something you also attempt to dictate, rather than acknowledge...is that we fully understand what you're selling and find it wanting. No facts you present justify holding the opinions you do (with rare exception), and often the "facts" are not facts at all, but are that which simply agrees with and validates your positions. This recent immigration debate is the perfect example of all I've now said, particularly with regard your anecdotal evidence versus your rejection of the same from your opponents (basically Craig and myself). Even assuming your anecdotes are absolutely true and accurate, they simply do NOT mitigate the truths and facts I've presented in my comments. You simply don't like those truths and facts. I get this. You aren't honest enough to admit it. That's just bad form.
